Lycopene, the secret substance of the tomato
A study aimed to investigate the effect of a tomato-based dietary supplement (Lycoderm) containing lycopene, the red carotenoid of the tomato, on the appearance of the skin after 16 weeks of use. A group of 60 subjects was divided into two groups of 28 and 28 respectively. 32 subjects, each of whom received a placebo and Lycoderm capsules.
In the subjects of the Lycopene group, a significant reduction in the appearance of lines and wrinkles was also noted. Silicon, the power of millet extract

Hyaluronic acid (HA) is found in all connective tissues and organs, including the skin and synovial fluid. In a placebo-controlled, randomized, double-blind study with daily HA intake of 120mg, wrinkling and skin fatigue were investigated for 12 weeks in 40 healthy Asian men and women.
After 12 weeks, the skin condition in the HA group had improved significantly compared to the placebo group in terms of wrinkle assessment, water content, transepidermal water loss, and elasticity. [Study]
